They did have a branch in the rising Broadway Fillmore business district at 1067 Broadway, Buffalo, NY, On the corner of Broadway and Sears St. Across from: Spolka Clothing and Mioducki Real Estate. Buffalo Trust merged with Marine Midland in 1925, which grew into today's HSBC bank. DO YOU RECOGNIZE THIS LOCATION??ITS CHANGED SOME!! The Buffalo German Insurance Co Building was torn down in 1957 to make way for the Tishman building, the longtime headquarters of National Fuel. Today the site is home to a Hilton Garden Inn. This cash box was made by Bankers Service Corp. Of New York. The company is well known for producing a number of collectible coin banks that were distributed by savings institutions as advertising premiums for their banks. Condition: This 100 year old cash box is still is cosmetically good condition. The only blemish, the lock is inoperative and no keys.
